Ayurveda Basic Principles Talk

Discover how you can apply the basic principles of Ayurveda in your daily life. Leave with practical knowledge, nourishing tools, and functional Ayurveda that is designed for you.
Learn how to get the most out of your food choices as well as easy, natural ways to improve your overall energy, metabolism, and digestion. We will discuss Finnish and Indian foods as “medicine” that can have a transformative effect on your health, and specifically how to improve digestion and increase immunity through simple Ayurvedic recipes and remedies. During the class, we will study the 6 tastes, doshas, gunas, constitutions, seasons, bodily functions, foods and herbs.
RECIPES INCLUDED IN THIS CLASS!
This class will cover the fundamental Ayurvedic principles, including the basic language and concepts connected to the healing system’s mind/body types. An overview of tools to achieve and maintain balance using those concepts through diet, lifestyle, yoga and more will also be introduced.
The talk will be held by Ayurvedic expert Justine Cederberg. Justine has studied Ayurveda and Yoga extensively in U.S.A. and Finland. Her teachers include Western and Indian doctors and practitioners, Dr. Partap Chauhan, Dr.Arun Gupta, Dr.Bhawna Sharma, Richard Haynes, Gianna Piccardo, Sajah Popham and Sarah Joy Marsh. Justine’s Ayurvedic offerings focus on “Ayurveda for Nordic Lifestyle”, taking into account the Finnish climate and Western traditional medicine.
