About our retreats
At the Wellness Vibes retreats, our goal is to offer an holistic approach to wellbeing in form of yoga, meditation, nutritious food and relaxation in tranquil surroundings with likeminded people. We also want to give the opportunity to explore the French lifestyle at it’s core by visiting villages and markets, and go for hike in the surrounding areas.
HEALTHY GOURMET FOOD
Healthy and delicious food is at the core of Wellness Vibes retreats. We offer a full-board stay where all meals are included in the price. We serve a large breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner with several courses plus snacks and healthy smoothies and drinks. The meals are carefully planned out by the help of an in-house nutritionist and mainly locally produced seasonal organic products are used in the cooking. The meals all suit a vegetarian diet but other food requirements are met on request.
YOGA & MEDITATION
Both being qualified yoga teachers, Katarina and Maxine teach daily classes of Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga and Yin yoga out on the sundeck or in the inside yoga area. Guided meditation is also held throughout the retreats and is an important part of the daily yoga practise. Yoga classes are held twice to three times a day depending on the daily program.
RELAXATION & OTHER ACTIVITIES
Furthermore, there is plenty of time to relax, read a book by the pool or go for walks in the surrounding areas. Bel-Air also has a tennis and boule court for the ones keen to do some extra sports. Visit to local food markets and picturesque villages for shopping will give you an insight into the real Provence lifestyle. Tours to the renowned vineyards located in the neighbour areas, cooking classes, massage and golf tours can also be organised.
WHO ARE THE RETREATS FOR?
Our retreats are for everyone that is longing for some time to relax and revitalise body and mind through yoga, wants to enjoy the French ‘art de vivre’ (art of life), spend time in peaceful surroundings and eat good food.
Being a family run business, we are able to be very flexible when it comes to designing the daily schedule and program for each yoga retreat. We want to keep the retreats as stress free as possible by giving the freedom for all to choose what activities they would like to take part in and how much they would like to do during the retreats. For special requirements and wishes, let us know beforehand and we will do our best to accommodate and adapt it to the schedule.
We also welcome private groups of friends, family and colleagues. If you are 5 or more who are interested in coming for a yoga and wellness retreat get in contact with us and we will tailer make a retreat according to your interests.
To the extra activities for the Wellness Vibes retreats include wine tastings, massages and cooking classes.
• Bel-Air is surrounded by vineyards and there are several renowned wineries walking distance from the house. Wine tastings have to be arranged in advance and in groups of 3 or more.
• Cooking classes are held by the in-house kitchen team – vegetarian, vegan or Ayurvedic recipes will be taught depending on what you want to learn.
